BBQ Jackfruit Sliders

This one is for all my vegan peeps!🌱 Warning ♨️ it might make your mouth water 🤤 We are only 4 days away till the big game 🏈 So if your scrambling to find a Simple Super Bowel Sunday recipe, that's vegan/vegetarian approved that everyone can enjoy, Ive got you covered 😉 You might even be able to trick your guests into thinking it's real pulled pork! 😱 That's the power of Jackfruit! It's a huge fruit that looks and has the texture of meat. This recipe only contains 6 simple ingredients and takes 20 minutes to make start to finish 🙌🏻 so you will still have time to enjoy the company of your guests and wow them with this exotic fruit!




Why Eat Jack Fruit?

First you are probably wondering what in the world is a Jackfruit. Its the SUPERFOOD of all SUPERFOODS! Well it is an exotic fruit that comes primarily from South India. It the largest tree fruit in the world! It can range for 30-80 pounds 😱 Jackfruit has almost every vitamin and mineral needed to survive, thats why it is the main food source for people in developing countries. Oh and did I mention it packed with protein?! Most fruits contain no protein at all, but Jackfruit has 3g of protein per serving!! Thats amazing for a fruit! Oh and in case you didn't know the seeds are also edible, trust me once you try it your going to wish the skin was edible too 😂


Now on to the best part how to make this recipe! I promise you its quick and easy 😎

Ingredients

1 Package of Mini Rolls or Hamburger Buns

1 Packet of The Jackfruit Company BBQ Jackfruit

1 Cup Purple Cabbage (Shredded)

1 Tablespoon Olive Oil

1 Lime

Pickle Chips


Directions

1. In a skillet over medium heat, add BBQ Jackfruit until desired temperature is reached.

2. While jackfruit is heating, in a medium mixing bowl combine cabbage, olive oil, lime, and toss together.

3. Heat rolls in the same skillet until browned.

4. Place all ingredients on rolls and top with pickles or any additional toppings desired.

5. Enjoy these mouth watering sliders! 🤤
